Water Engineer
Job Description
Are you a experienced Water Engineer with expertise in clean water services? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in Bristol.
About the Role:
As a Water Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving clean water infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leak Detection: Use advanced tools and techniques to locate leaks in the water network efficiently and with minimal disruption.
- Service Pipe Renewals: Replace and upgrade service pipes to improve network reliability and ensure a consistent supply of clean water.
- Repairs and Maintenance of Water Mains: Conduct planned and emergency repairs on mains to reduce downtime and enhance system performance.
- Excavation and Restoration: Perform excavation work to access buried infrastructure and restore the site to its original condition upon completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
This is a hands-on role that requires regular travel across the Bristol area. A company van and fuel card will be provided to support your work.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience: Proven track record in leak detection, service pipe renewals, and water mains maintenance.
- Qualifications:
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
- Streetworks (NRSWA) accreditation.
- CPCS Excavator ticket.
- Driving Licence.
