Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a strong commitment to providing excellent care and support for our guests. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care while also assisting with customer service duties. We are looking for someone who would fit in with the existing team to work on Sundays and Tuesdays. Additional days may be available at a later date

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and cats.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of animals
• Assist with customer service tasks, including greeting clients and answering questions about services.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and a willingness to learn about various breeds and their needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £22,669.00 per year

Expected hours: 7.30 – 18.30 per week
