Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our clients team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations.

Location: Northampton

Driver Rates: PAYE/LTD Hourly rate

• Class 2 Driver M-F PAYE £13.00 or LTD £16.00ph
• Class 2 Driver Sat PAYE £14.50 or LTD £18.00ph
• Class 2 Driver Sun PAYE £14.50 or LTD 18.00ph

Hours: A variety of shifts will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents that occur during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all company policies regarding safety and compliance with regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver.
• Valid driver’s licence Cat C no more than 6 points. (No DDs, DRs, DDs, IN10s etc)
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
