HGV Class 1 Night ADR Driver

Job Description

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 night ADR Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in the Northampton, Crick.

Hours of work:

• Night work
• Varied start times
• Between 17:00-22:00 starts

Salary:

• £21.89-£26.16 per hour – inclusive of holiday pay

The Role:

• Trunking from depot-depot
• Distribution Centre work
• FULL ADR REQUIRED

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE licence.
• No more than 6 minor penalty points.
• No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
• Driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Digital tacho card.
