Job Description

HGV Class 1 Afternoon Trunking – Purfleet Essex.

Driver Require are recruiting drivers for HGV Class 1 Trunk drivers looking for ongoing work, for one of our renowned clients based in Purfleet Essex.


With start time window between 11:00 – 15:00

This opportunity comes with good pay rates, well-maintained vehicles and trailers, with a dedicated and professional transportation team. Class 1 Trunking with pre loaded Double Deck refrigerated trailers returning to Purfleet daily 7 days per week.


Pay rates:


  • DAYS     – £18.51 (Rolled holiday £20.74)

  • NIGHTS     – £20.32 (Rolled holiday £22.77)

  • Weekly pay


Overview of the role:


  • Start window     between 11:00 – 15:00

Driver Requirements:


All applicants must have 2 year experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.

  • Recent experience with Double Deck trailers 16ft 4 inches (4.9m) tall.
  • Experience with HGV Class 1 driving double deck trailers and refrigerated trailers is preferred.
  • You must be able to complete manual entries on a daily basis.
  • No more than 6 x points – with no majors.
  • Drivers Licenses with endorsement of DD DR IN10 TT99 will not be accepted.
  • All candidates will provide a CV and a comprehensive 5 years working history.
