Experienced Reactive Drainage Engineer – Stockport-Based Role

Due to continued expansion, Drainage Consultants Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Reactive Drainage Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position working out of Stockport, Manchester.

About the Role

As a Reactive Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for:

✔ High-pressure water jetting – clearing blockages and ensuring free-flowing drainage systems.

✔ Fault investigation – diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently.

✔ CCTV drain surveys – using camera technology to assess pipe conditions and identify defects.

Requirements

✅ Experience in reactive drainage work is essential – this is not a trainee role.

✅ Full, valid UK driving licence (minor points accepted).

✅ A flexible approach to working hours, including participation in an on-call rota (approximately one week in six).

✅ Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 (overtime available).
