Job Description
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Down Hall Hotel, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxurious 4-star environment. You will support the Food & Beverage team in daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, customer service, and efficiency are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and events.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all F&B areas.
2. Guest Experience:
- Ensure a seamless guest experience by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing special requests efficiently.
- Monitor and improve service quality to meet guest expectations consistently.
- Create an inviting atmosphere by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and attention to detail.
3. Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff members.
- Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to the team to enhance performance.
4. Financial Accountability:
- Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage stock levels, to meet budgetary targets.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
- Contribute to achieving sales and revenue goals by promoting specials, up selling, and cross-selling opportunities.
5. Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all licensing laws, health regulations, and company policies are strictly followed.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the hotel’s menus, beverage offerings, and promotions to provide accurate recommendations to guests.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage within a 4-star or similar environment is essential.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Customer Service: Strong focus on guest satisfaction with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to handle guest concerns and operational challenges efficiently.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £27,040.00 per year
