We have a range of exciting new opportunities for newly qualified social workers and experienced social workers across Doncaster.
We are looking for motivated and ambitious social workers with a passion for enabling people in Doncaster to live in the place they call home with the people and things that they love, in communities where they look out for one another, doing things that matter to them.
You will play a key role in the development and implementation of the locality-based approach, using creative ways to support people to live the lives they choose, helping them to stay in control whilst improving their confidence, connecting them with their local communities and supporting them to flourish.
As a Social Worker within our teams, you will promote and embed our practice framework which is based on strong, legally literate, and rights-based practice. The roles will involve undertaking holistic, good conversations with adults, carers, and families to help them make informed choices and decisions based on what matters to them.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we can offer you the chance to be part of a great team dedicated to ensuring that all people in Doncaster thrive. You will also have access to a variety of attractive employee benefits including competitive leave entitlement, a generous local government pension scheme, a wide range of well-being support and development opportunities. You will also have access to a range of staff discount and benefits schemes. More information on the benefits available to you as a City of Doncaster Council employee can be found in the attached benefits book.
