Meet our amazing client:

I am a little boy with complex disability. I am dependent on others to aid me undertake all activities of daily living. I have a gastrostomy for all nutrition, hydration, and medication. I have a stoma bag which required regular care. I am not able to walk and have a fully adapted living space with hoists and all essential equipment. I can move around on the floor to get about and can be quite speedy. I also have epilepsy which can really take it out of me sometimes.

I am a fun-loving person and I like music, anything that lights up, books, Mr Tumble and my smile can light up the room.

What you will have:

A genuine interest in providing the best person-centred care possible.

Full driving license – preferable but not essential

Ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A fun and enthusiastic outlook with a love of books and music!!

Previous experience of working with children in a community setting or people with complex needs is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

The 7am-9am and 3pm-8pm Thursday with some extra hours when required. Additional hours throughout the day in the holidays and regular weekend work.

Potential to increase hours to include 7am-9am and 3pm-8pm on Fridays

Licence/Certification: Full UK / EU Drivers licence (required) – to drive an automatic wheelchair accessible Motability vehicle.

Experience preferred but not essential
