Support Worker / Social Buddy – Neston Area

We require an enthusiastic and caring people to assist a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), to support him engage with his local community and assist him in his day-to-day living.

This roll requires someone who is outgoing, fun. Ideally has an interest in gaming, visiting the cinema, shopping and eating out.

Applicants must be able to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Tasks will also include, but are not limited to:

Personal care, preparing simple meals, feeding and

administration of medication.

Client will also require the support of a

cough assist, nebuliser, BIPAP.

Full training will be provided.

A DBS will be paid for by the employer.

40 hours per week, shifts /Job share considered

Monday – Friday including occasional Satursdays

This can be discussed at interview.

Hourly pay rate is £14.00 per hour.
