We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support for a gentlemen in a wheelchair that has suffered a stroke but has full capacity.

About the role

We are looking for a PA that can be companion, taking the person to appointments, outings and generally being with him. The gentleman his is own vehicle and cannot move or speak but all is personal care is done by a care company with daily visits.

I’m looking for a driven person that can be self motivated and enjoy life.

A person that has had involvement with people that have had a stroke and are compassionate and willing to look at ways to make the person they are looking after a positive experience.

I would like someone that has prior knowledge of care and can think on their feet and can follow a care plan that is in line with the persons needs.

A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.

Ability to have flexibility to support with covering other team members holidays.

Days and Times required

Friday 8.30am to 5pm plus holiday cover for the other PAs

Necessary Training

Training will be given but will be helpful if you have prior knowledge.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £14.60 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 per week

• Holidays
