Job Description:
As our Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of our home. You’ll oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch care, and lead a team of dedicated professionals. Your role is crucial in shaping the future of our children and ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Service: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that our residents’ needs are always met.
- Support & Develop Your Team: Provide guidance, conduct team meetings, and support staff growth through inductions and e-learning. Act as a mentor and coach, helping everyone reach their potential.
- Promote Person-Centred Care: Foster a culture where respect, dignity, and independence are the priority for each individual.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain high standards of care and ensure all regulatory standards are met, including performance management, maintaining staff rotas, and overseeing leave requests.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with residents, their families, and local authorities to ensure the best outcomes.
- Ensure high-quality support and compliance with OFSTED and/or CQC regulations.
- Safeguard and Support: Ensure the well-being of our children, lead on safeguarding practices, and promote their development.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a children’s care environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Hands-on and compassionate approach.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Support for Children and Young People or equivalent.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to train).
- Willing to attain Level 4 Diploma.
- Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a children’s supported accommodation setting.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements for young person’s supported accommodation.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with on-call duties.

Working Hours:
