Location: Midlands (Primary delivery/collection area)

Salary: £11.44+ per hour (negotiable)

Hours: 42 hours per week (paid weekly)

Contract: Permanent after 13-week probation

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

Phoenix Tavinor Engineering is seeking a reliable and proactive Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team. This hands-on role involves a combination of warehouse and driving responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

• Replenish stock and ensure raw materials, packaging, and goods are in place for production.
• Empty stillage bins, laser skeletons, and general waste bins.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop floor.
• Perform daily checks and regular cleaning of forklift trucks and works vehicles.
• Take charge of goods in and out processes, including cross-referencing paperwork and ensuring correct sign-offs.
• Prepare and pack goods for delivery.
• Assist with general cleaning and machinery maintenance during quieter periods.

Driving Duties:

• Deliver and collect goods using a long-wheelbase van across the Midlands.
• Ensure the company vehicle is loaded, strapped securely, and well-maintained.
• Liaise with management to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Requirements

Essential:

• Clean UK driving license.
• Current FLT counterbalance license.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
