Semi Skilled / Skilled Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for skilled and semi skilled Engineer to join our small team in Poole, Dorset. If you have experience with small plant, agricultural machinery, hand tools and site tools, we would love to hear from you.

Basic Package:

• Salary range £30,000 – £35,000 Dependant on Experience
• On going training and support

Requirements:

• Must have full driving licence with HGV as an advantage but not essential
• Be able to service and make basic repairs to various machinery including diggers, dumpers, petrol and diesel site tools and trailers
• We are seeking a time served engineer. Previous experience is essential
• Diagnose and fault find any minor machine defects and carry out repairs confidently
• You will need to have basic knowledge of auto-electrics; engines, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Must have the ability to work on site unaided when required

Responsibilities:

• Complete basic repairs and routine maintenance procedures
• Steam clean, wash and grease machinery
• Carry out basic repairs and replace faulty components, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship at all times
• Performing thorough fault finding and inspections to identify potential issues and recommending preventative maintenance measures.
