CLEANING OPERTIVES WANTED ASAP – (£12 per hour rising to £13 per hour from 1st April 2025)

Diamond UK Facilities Management have an excellent opportunity for experienced Cleaning Operatives to work within a secure office/workshop environment in a business in the PH1 AREA OF PERTH (ALMONDBANK), PERTH AND KINROSS.

This is a FULL TIME PERMANENT contract from Monday to Friday.

The hours are fixed (37 hours per week) and are as below:

Monday to Thursday from 7.00 am to 3.30 pm (with a 30 minute break each day)

Fridays from 7.00 am to 12 noon

PLEASE NOTE:

Applicants MUST be able to pass a BPSS security check which will cover your past 3 years employment history, identity, right to work in the UK and some other questions including giving the name and address of referees. You must also have held a clean Basic Disclosure within the past 3 years. You will need to apply for a new Basic Disclosure as part of the vetting process. Diamond will pay for these checks to be carried out.

You should have a valid passport and/or driving licence – you will need this to apply for your disclosure and for identification purposes.

DRIVER WITH CAR preferred due to the location.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum offices and workshop areas to make sure facilities meet Diamond UK Facilities Management Ltd standards.
• Change toilet rolls and hand towels, if necessary, clean and dust workstations.
• Clean and maintain toilet fixtures and toilets to maintain cleanliness within the facility.
• Clean and maintain kitchen/staff breakout areas.
• Use floor care machines – general cleaners and carpet cleaners (experience would be ideal however full training will be provided).
• Perform cleaning of all equipment, including cleaning of machines and sweeping of floors.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour rising to £13.00 per hour in April 2025.
