The service that was to become Devon Home Care was started more than twenty years ago by husband and wife team, Trevor and Shirley. They wanted to establish a company in Devon that provided a better, more personal service that met the needs of those who not only needed care in their own homes, but also wanted to feel part of deciding how and when – and by whom – that care should be provided. Whilst Shirley has now retired from taking an active part in the business, she still takes a keen interest in its day to day operation.
