ADHD Practitioner / Non-Medical Prescriber

Job Description

Provide evidence based clinical interventions/treatments. Including prescribing to clients assessed as having a diagnosis of ADHD. Work as an independent non-medical prescriber within the ADHD care pathway, taking responsibility for the clinical assessment of the client, establishing a diagnosis and the clinical management required, including initiating prescribing of Controlled Drugs, and liaising with GPs. Contribute to a group orientated approach to the delivery of interventions to clients.

Provide managerial and clinical supervision to junior members of the prescribing team as required. The post holder will update himself/herself with new developments and will be actively involved in education and research in the speciality.
