Birmingham (Hybrid)

A new opportunity has arisen for an Lead Building Surveyor to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who are growing due to workload.Join their vibrant Birmingham team with the flexibility of hybrid working, where you’ll spearhead projects across a spectrum of exciting sectors, including Housing, Education, Commercial, Care, and Health.

Projects you will be working on:

  • Refurbishment projects in the education, housing and care sector
  • Survey programmes for local authorities and education establishments

The successful Lead Building Surveyor will;

  • Hold or aspire to achieve MRICS status, or bring a wealth of industry expertise.
  • Thrive within diverse, interdisciplinary project teams, adding value with every collaboration.
  • Exhibit mastery in core building surveying skills and a flair for project leadership.
  • Possess exceptional client interaction skills, as you’ll be at the forefront of delighting our clients.

Ideally you will have:

  • RICS accredited Building Surveying degree
  • Relevant industry experience as an Building Surveyor
  • Proficient in condition surveys
  • Experience in undertaking stock condition surveys
  • Good technical knowledge of construction technology and building pathology
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experience using MS Project and Techforge would be advantageous
  • Registered for APC as part of progression with a drive to achieving MRICS
