Job Description
Job Title: Central Operations Coordinator
Location: Head Office in NW10 and Hub Station in Central London
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Reports to: Head of Operations
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Central Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our delivery network, ensuring customer satisfaction and driver engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driver Coordination: Schedule and manage driver shifts, ensuring optimal coverage across all delivery routes.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers and clients via phone, email, and internal messaging platforms (Slack, Telegram).
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on deliveries, monitor driver performance, and address any issues promptly.
- Driver Support: Provide support to drivers with any delivery-related issues, ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure all drivers comply with company policies and relevant legislation, including vehicle inspections and document checks.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively communicating any delivery updates or potential disruptions.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all driver activity, including shifts, deliveries, and performance data.
- Training & Development: Conduct on-site training for new drivers and provide ongoing support to existing drivers.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency, driver satisfaction, and customer experience.
About You:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using various software applications.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience within the logistics or delivery industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
