About the role – what we’re looking for
Working closely with the Head of Clinical Care (HoD) and the Registered Manager, this role will involve taking the lead in defined areas of responsibility within the Clinical Team. The Senior Nurse will provide direction and expertise to the Clinical Team under the guidance of the Head of Clinical Care. This person will deputise in the absence of the Head of Clinical Care ensuring that senior clinical team are present, available, and visible to both guests and team. The successful applicant will fulfil a critical leadership role in the team. They will support the line management, training and development needs of team members whilst ensuring safe and effective provision of care to guests.
About the person – wo we are looking for
Essential Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Minimally 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A compassionate leader with experience in a management role (equivalent band 6 or above), ideally within a variety of clinical settings
- A diligent Nurse with a broad range of clinical skills and relevant experience, encompassing physical and mental health.
- A person-centred, guest-focused approach aligned with the Delamere ethos and values.
- A detailed knowledge of the legislation and regulation that governs the management of medications (including controlled drugs and drugs liable for misuse) in a regulated environment.
- A passionate Registered Nurse with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
- An organised person with great time management skills, able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of purpose and drive for achievement.
- Highly resilient with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience of improving outcomes in a healthcare/social care setting.
- Experience of care planning and incident management in a live environment.
- Competent at roster management
- Knowledge and experience of incident management/risk and clinical governance including audit, information governance and data protection.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- An understanding of addiction and the treatment sector more broadly.
- Passionate about addiction recovery.
- Actively develops self and others through feedback, training, and coaching.
- A great team player; is collaborative and looks for collective success.

Pay: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
