Responsibilities of an Adult Support Worker:
– Play a vital role in enhancing the life skills and independence of individuals.
– Provide person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors.
– Build positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and respect.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies.

Requirements of an Adult Support Worker:
– Previous experience in social care, with familiarity in the unique challenges and rewards of this role.
– Flexibility is key, as this position will require working varied shifts to accommodate the needs of our clients.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with individuals.
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors effectively.
– Willingness to undergo background checks, including DBS checks, and provide references from previous employers.
– Commitment to ongoing training and obtaining necessary certifications as required.

To Register, You Must Have:
– A minimum of 3 months of UK experience in social care.
– Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, or challenging behaviours is essential.
– A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
– A genuine passion for working in the care industry and a commitment to making a positive impact.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
