I am on the hunt for a team of people to help build and shape this Young Person Residential home. You will be working in a brand new home with a solo placement. Noticing that more and more homes are opening for the wrong reasons the owners have decided to specialise in very complex needs, EBD, and LD, to bring the care back into residential care.

With a shift pattern of 4 days (plus paid sleep), then 8 days off, OR 2 days on, then 4 days off. You will be able to not only give the best level of dedicated care, but you will also be able to have a fulfilling personal life as you will have 8 Days away from home to do as you please. A true balance.

About The Company

The directors have a combined 30 years’ worth of experience in Young People’s Residential Care and decided to combine their wealth of knowledge to open a home themselves. With the home ready to open, we need you to make this dream a reality.

Duties

• Someone with empathy
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children and families.
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Proficiency in IT to maintain records and communicate with team members efficiently.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• Level 3/4 Residential Childcare (preferred)
