Job Description

New Year, New Start

I am on the hunt for an experienced. My ideal candidate will provide support to the young people, ensuring their well-being and assisting them if needed. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, follow care plans, and foster a nurturing environment.

Duties

  • Provide direct support to children in various settings.
  • Implement individual care plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Communicate effectively with the young people and colleagues.
  • Utilise IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

Experience

✅ Previous experience in childcare or working with children is essential.

✅ Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is highly desirable.

✅ Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with children and their families.

✅ A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.

✅ IT proficiency is advantageous for maintaining records and communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£14.43 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week

Experience:

  • Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
