The job

We are looking for housekeeping staff to join our team for the 2025 season. The successful candidate will be required to work on our busy weekend changeovers in our hire caravans and lodges as well as helping stock up the shop when needed. Other duties will involve cleaning of camping facilities, reception, offices and communal areas as well as supporting our grounds and maintenance team keeping the site and beach clean, tidy and weed free.

· Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. We do however require candidates to have good communication skills and show motivation and competence with a ‘can do’ attitude

· It is essential that the successful candidate can work well as part of a team

· The hours are 37.5 hours spread over a 5-day week at £13.00 + 75p per hour end of season bonus, however, should a shorter 4-day week suit the right candidate please make us aware upon application.

· We have on site accommodation available based on two people sharing a caravan.

As a nursing home rated “Outstanding” by CQC we are seeking to recruit a housekeeping assistant to join our committed and driven team and to uphold the same ethos and passion for care that we do.

The main duties to include, but not limited to:

· To help with when required

· To clean all floor surfaces, carpeted and non-carpeted.

· To dust and polish furniture, moving it periodically for this purpose.

· To clean toilets and baths, and equipment where necessary.

· To refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries, toilet rolls, paper towels, soaps etc when necessary.

· To carry out deep cleans.

· To undertake any duties in the laundry as required.

· To assist with catering and meal arrangements as required.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Whately Hall Hotel.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include the changing of all linen, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address any guest/client queries and make sure the bedrooms remain fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times.

Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests/client during their stay with us.
