Digital Marketing Manager (Agency Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager with a proven track record in an agency environment.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our digital marketing strategies, leading client campaigns, and fostering business growth. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, oversee a talented team, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard while achieving measurable results.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic insights and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to optimise campaigns and implement new strategies to drive ROI.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and technical teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Oversee resource allocation and manage team workload to meet deadlines.
Campaign Management
- Marketing Strategy – Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content.
- Analytics and Reporting – Completing monthly client marketing reporting. Analysis of campaign performance and generating actionable insights to refine strategies.
- Account Management – Managing communications with clients and building relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- PPC Advertising – Managing pay-per-click advertising campaigns across different platforms (AdWords, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc).
- Social Media Management – Creating social media updates and management of paid social advertising across multiple client accounts.
- Content Marketing – Producing quality content (blogs, social posts, email content, landing page content) across different sectors.
- E-mail Marketing – Creating and distributing email marketing campaigns.
- Marketing Automation – Planning and setting up marketing automation journeys for clients using systems like Pardot and Klaviyo.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum of 7+ years of digital marketing experience (primarily in an agency setting).
- Proven track record of managing high-value client accounts and delivering measurable results.
- Experience leading a team.
- Experience managing budgets, and optimising marketing spend.
- Strong knowledge of current digital marketing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Google Ads) are a plus.
- Google Analytics experience
- Google Ads experience.
- Meta Ads experience.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Pardot, Klaviyo.
- Experience with WordPress and other website content management systems.
- Spelling and grammar must be to a good standard.
- Social media management experience.
- Experience multi-tasking, handling deadlines and multiple responsibilities.
- Willing to learn and get stuck in with a small growing company. It will be a varied role and a chance to get involved with lots of different areas of marketing.

Salary: From £30,000 to £38,000 (salary depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
