We are adding 3 Account Executives to our Central London team to help develop new accounts and manage relationships in our Corporate Legal, IP and Investment sectors. Successful candidates will develop into Senior Account Executive and then Sales Manager once initial milestone targets are achieved. This is a small high performing team. This is an in-person role located in our office in our Central London office.

Qualifications

  • Sales & Marketing Experience – 2 years of proven B2B or B2C sales experience preferably with high priced products.
  • Experience in creating and launching strategic marketing email campaigns is preferred. Cold calling experience to C level executives.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills. Successful candidates understand EQ and tactical empathy. This is a C level consultative sales process where deals are closed in 5 days.
  • Experience in both hunting and use of disciplined KPI’s plus a proven farmer and developer of relationships. We need both to excel in this role. We need exceptional research and organizational skills.

OTE Progression: 40 years of being a global business means we have institutional knowledge of how to sell, manage and develop relationships. We have an exceptional system. Our average manager experience is 7+ years and long service Sales Leaders are 20 + years’ experience. London Sales Director has 15+ year experience. We work as senior leadership team and all share and collaborate on tactics and strategies to help WIN deals.

As a sales and account management professional at Marcus Evans you will earn 7%-13% commission on monthly targets with deal price points after your induction period of between EUR35k and EUR80k for entry relationships growing to EUR150k-EUR250k repeat relationships. At an early stage you will be targeted to earn £2500 – £6600per month in commissions plus base. So OTE is £57k+ in year one, and Senior Account Executive Year Two : OTE £69k – £132k+.

Monthly career reviews against financial goals and KPI metrics. Progression into management after year two based on performance where income opportunities increase. Exclusive Manager in training program to develop future leaders from year two for selected global candidates.

Continuous training and development via coaching and mentorship programs; In addition, access to full global LMS platform and our sales mastery program. The Role

  • Drive and expand your portfolio of prospects through outbound engagement and call activity (~40% of appointments are generated by the rep)
  • Create Outreach sequences leveraging marketing rich content and/or custom campaigns that include phone, email, e-gifting, and LI to secure meetings with decision makers in ICP accounts
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities with a minimum of 3 times quota securing next step meetings throughout the process
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of information and forecasts (call/meeting notes, supporting documentation, next steps etc.) in Salesforce/Gong
  • Demonstrate how Karbon’s value proposition aligns with clients’ requirements

The Role
The purpose of the role is to work with clients and influencers in order to drive creative, innovative and effective talent-led campaigns & to provide support and assistance in managing the client’s proposals and to keep day to day activities running smoothly.
Main Areas of Responsibility & Accountability
  • Coordinates invoicing and payment process. Responsible for inputting jobs onto Paprika and regularly updating.
  • Supports Manager in delivering outstanding client service through management of key projects
  • Works with wider team to challenge client briefs, ensuring KPIs are achievable
  • Collaborates with team to implement campaigns from conception to completion
  • Responsible for influencer outreach and multiple campaign communications
  • Builds trusted relationships with clients, agencies and influencer partners.
  • Delivers excellent execution of full campaigns
  • Knows how to use and utilise all relevant tools
  • Responsible for building and upkeep of case study library, tracker and other team resources
Knowledge & Skills
  • Awareness of latest market developments and trends

Momentum work with American Express across a wide plethora of events across the team, from managing their activations as the official credit card partner of The Championships, Wimbledon to other cultural events such as Somerset House Summer Series, BST Hyde Park to an array of the busiest venues in UK and Europe. These properties allow American Express to help fans and Cardmembers redefine the way they experience events – whether facilitating presale hospitality access, elevating onsite experiences in meaningful ways, innovating Cardmember payment experiences, or bringing fans closer to the artists they love.

Momentum is responsible for the Strategic Direction, Creative Development, Design, Production, Execution and Delivery across all physical and virtual events and the Account Executive, based in London, will provide vital team support. This role is focused on music festivals and as Account Executive, you will support the team across BST Hyde Park and All Points East Festival.

You will work closely with Account Directors, Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to ensure the team are set up for success to deliver both festivals in line with Amex’s objectives. You will also work closely with the American Express client contacts and partners.

This role requires someone who is enthusiastic and has a can-do attitude along with a willingness to jump in and support across the team. In short, this is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to work on the agency’s flagship account, and specifically on a world-class, globally renowned property.

Our clients business is bedded in service so it’s crucial that the selected candidate can personally demonstrate great service in everything we do. From a killer status document, to meeting notes & agendas to onsite demeanour.


/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the delivery of BST Hyde Park and All Points East Festival
  • Assisting with Strategy, Creative, Design phases of the projects.
  • Managing internal and client weekly status documents
  • Managing meeting Agendas & Minutes
  • Creating presentation decks for Clients, partners and for internal usage
  • Team administration
  • Amex market communications across the partnerships
  • Supporting across all phases of the delivery of all Amex event activations
  • Supporting with time reconciliations and finance administration which includes pulling relevant reports to manage agency time and budgets
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients in the UK
  • Reporting directly into the Senior Account Manager/Account Manager, American Express, but with a dotted line into the Account Director, American Express.


/ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Our Account Executive roles are aimed at those looking to build on initial experience within an agency or get their foot on the ladder for the first time. You may be working in your first agency role, have recently graduated / completed a Marketing apprenticeship or internship, or be looking for a career change – whatever your background, we’d love to hear from you. The key things we’ll be looking for you to demonstrate are:

  • Agency experience is preferred, but not essential
  • A passion for music and entertainment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships within the team but also with clients, partners and agency colleagues
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills
  • A trustworthy and hardworking team member
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to take on any task
  • Capable of learning quickly and applying learnings/best practices to future tasks
