Optical Advisor Summary
As an Optical Advisor, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service and expert advice on eyewear and lenses. Your key duties will include:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, assessing their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Product Knowledge: Staying informed about eyewear trends and providing expert advice on frames, lenses, and coatings.
- Technical Skills: Conducting basic measurements for frame fitting and collaborating with the lab for accurate order fulfillment.
- Store Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized display of eyewear products and maintaining the cleanliness of the practice.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, a basic understanding of anatomy related to vision care, the ability to travel, and a keen eye for detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
