MTrec are currently recruiting for a prestigious company based in the Blyth area. We are currently looking for candidates interested in working within a Production environment.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Assembling the products together by hand
  • Using a range of hand and air tools
  • Following and understanding engineering drawings
  • Working on a production flowline and following production procedures
  • Operating hand scanners to locate and find goods throughout the warehouse
  • Manually stacking customer orders onto dispatch wagons
  • Loading packaging to and from shelves around the warehouse
  • Order picking customer orders and labelling them, preparing for dispatch
  • Cleaning warehouse floor and always ensuring the work area remains clean and safe
  • Strict Adherence to health and safety regulations, always wearing the correct PPE.

About You;

  • Preferably candidates who have previous production experience
  • Candidates must be able to supply 5 years worth of references
  • Good attitude, team player with a good level of fitness
  • Experience using digital hand scanners to locate orders
  • Basic understanding of computing

ASSEMBLY OPERATOR

HBS Electronics – ALTON, HAMPSHIRE

40 HOURS PER WEEK – MONDAY – FRIDAY – 08.30 – 17.00 (1/2 HR LUNCH)

We are seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and inspection of electronic components and systems. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in the assembly of electronic devices.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assemble electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and wiring systems according to technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and functional tests on completed assemblies to verify performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Work with hand tools and automated machinery for electronic assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve assembly processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in all assembly operations.

JOB PURPOSE:

To participate in the production of company manufactured assembly and testing of oxygen breathing equipment and ground support equipment.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To build, test and release equipment to approved standards
  • Communicate closely with Production manager and Supervisor regarding all project work and related matters
  • Ensure that products produced are to the specifications required
  • Assist with other projects / duties as determined by the Production Manager
  • Responsible for adhering to health and safety rules and procedures
  • Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to colleagues and equipment
  • Present a positive attitude at all times, with a resilient, adaptable approach to problems
