Thank you for your interest in Mountbatten, and for wanting to working with us to support people
across The Isle of Wight and west Hampshire facing death, dying and bereavement.
On any one day, we care for and support nearly 1,000 people at the most challenging time of their lives, in the places they want to receive that care. The majority of our work takes place in people’s own homes. We also support people in the local hospital and we have a large inpatient unit where people often stay to get their symptoms under control before returning home. We also offer people a social place where they can take part in group activities and attend outpatient appointments, and the centre is also open to our local community.
