Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Professional Driver to join a world-class security team protecting a high-net-worth individual.

This position requires not only exceptional driving skills but also proficiency in close protection and the ability to work discreetly and effectively within a multicultural team. The role involves frequent travel alongside the principal and the security team, operating in diverse and dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and secure transportation for the principal and team in London and internationally.
• Perform advanced driving techniques, including offensive and defensive driving, in high-pressure or complex scenarios.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, including routine checks, cleanliness, and security inspections.
• Identify and mitigate potential threats while remaining alert and adaptable.
• Assist the close-protection team with operational support during movements.
• Exhibit impeccable discretion and professionalism at all times.
• Adapt to varied schedules, including extended hours and frequent international travel.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of professional experience with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or in government/private sector close protection roles with a focus on driving.
• Proven track record of advanced driving skills, including defensive and offensive techniques.
• Background in military, police, or comparable close-protection environments is highly desirable.- Formal training in close protection, self-defence, and threat identification.
• Multilingual abilities are preferred.- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to seamlessly integrate into a multicultural team.- Immaculate personal presentation and the ability to ‘dress the part’ for high-profile settings.

Work conditions

• Flexibility to work a 50% rotation schedule (one month on, one month off) and adapt to long days (up to 20 hours when necessary).
• Based in London and eligible to work in the UK.

Salary

£65,000 per annum
