Job Description

My client is seeking a passionate professional to lead a variety of projects across Scotland. Based in Ayr, this role offers a blend of client engagement, land management, and consulting with rural and utility clients.


What You’ll Do:


  • Lead Projects
    : Manage land referencing, secure project access, and negotiate compensation claims with landowners.

  • Client Relations
    : Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and professional advisers to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Land Transactions
    : Oversee acquisitions, compensation claims, servitudes/wayleaves, and renewable energy deals.

  • Contribute Across Sectors
    : Work alongside diverse teams to support public and private clients with 21st-century land solutions.


About You:


  • Experience
    : Experience in project management, surveying, forestry or utilities is essential.
  • Self-Starter: A motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong Communicator
    : Excellent verbal and written skills to foster relationships and drive business development.

  • Organised & Knowledgeable
    : Agile in task management with solid market insight across the rural, forestry, and farming sectors.

  • Bonus Skills
    : Practical farming/forestry experience and basic understanding of wayleaves.
