Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Coach to lead our team. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Level 2 Tennis Coach qualification, preferably Level 3, possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating athletes in both skills and sportsmanship. This role requires an individual who can inspire, motivate, and develop players while fostering a positive team environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of the groups and individual players.
• Educate players on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
• Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring all players receive adequate attention and instruction.
• Analyse player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and discipline among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the Senior Management Team regarding progress and expectations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during training sessions and matches.

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of the game.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate players effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire a diverse group of individuals.
• Ability to analyse performance data to inform training decisions.
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage schedules, practices, and competitions efficiently.
• A positive attitude with a focus on player development both on and off the court.

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
