Residential Surveyors (Entry-Level)

Job Description

We’re seeking a couple of newly qualified Residential Surveyors (Entry-Level) to join and support a dynamic start-up company based in Nantwich!

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you’ll be involved in a variety of survey-related tasks.

In this role, you’ll primarily focus on residential properties, including new-builds, ranging from £100k to £1 million. Your responsibilities will include property valuations, surveys, inspections, reports, and providing expert advice to customers over the phone. As a self-motivated individual, you will be based in the office 2 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely, and spend 3 days per week on the road covering locations across Cheshire, Staffordshire, and Shropshire.

An RICS qualification is essential, and this is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct residential property valuations
• Perform homebuyer surveys to assess properties’ condition and identify potential issues
• Conduct building surveys to evaluate structure, condition, and necessary repairs
• Prepare comprehensive condition reports, highlighting areas of concern
• Perform Energy Performance Assessments
• Carry out boundary surveys and resolve any disputes or uncertainties
• Complete mortgage valuations to help lenders assess property values
• Write clear, concise reports and provide expert recommendations
• Advise clients on the implications of planning and building regulations for their properties

Hours

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (flexible)

Pay

£30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Skills/Experience Required

• RICS qualified (essential)
• Some residential property experience, ideally through internships, placements, or previous roles
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with surveying software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Full UK driving license required
