Due to continuing success and growth, we are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor. Working in a busy factory environment at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Antrim your main duties will be the management & control of raw materials and consumable supplies to support the manufacture of high-quality joinery products including case goods, bespoke doors, display furniture and fire rated components.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Management of inventory to ensure that stock levels are maintained in line with operational requirements.
  • Management and control of materials issued to shop floor in line with materials requisition system.
  • Co-ordination of goods receiving to ensure timely storage & issuing of materials.
  • Management of goods inwards inspection systems and quality issues with suppliers.
  • Ensure all goods received are packed and stored safely.
  • Oversee the implementation of FSC systems and management of record keeping and material issue systems.
  • Co-ordination of moisture checking systems for material received.
  • Oversee the annual stock take.
  • Management of costs, overheads and personnel related to warehouse.
  • Audit and adjustment of existing systems in order to improve efficiency.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations in so far as they impact stores activities.
  • Ensure all Factory and site-based measuring equipment requiring calibration is kept up to date.
  • Inspection of ladders and steps.​​

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a similar role including management and ordering of stock and co-ordination of goods in / goods out.
  • Proven managerial experience, ability to lead a team, to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good IT skills including experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team based in Northampton. The ideal candidate will be a good team player, able to work under pressure, self- motivated, confident, and able to give direction to all colleagues, as well as being able to effectively perform all warehousing functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervising all phases of shipping and/or warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our National Distribution Centre based in Coventry.
