Job Overview

Responsibilities

Job Description

KeyRing is a not for profit organisation that provides support to people in their local area. We do this in groups and one to one. This might be helping them to plan for their dream job or giving them advice on looking after their money. It really does depend on the individual but one of our main goals is to help people connect with other organisations and people. Because life is about more than a support provider.

We are looking for someone that is ambitious for people’s future to lead a team of people to deliver this support. The role is home based and covers Rotherham and Grimsby so you must be well placed to travel between the two areas when needed.

It is a full-time post of 37.5 hours a week with a salary of £34,020.00 per annum.

The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team of staff and volunteers and the quality of support that is delivered.

You will need:

  • Experience of working with people in the social care sector
  • Knowledge and experience of planning support
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Knowledge of the challenges that people who draw on social care face
  • Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
  • A strong commitment to increasing people’s connection and independence from support
  • Good working knowledge of basic IT systems including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
