PART TIME RECEPTIONIST/GENERAL LEISURE ASSISTANT VACANCY AVAILABLE AT MILLOM RECREATION CENTRE

hours –

Thursdays 4pm – 9pm

Fridays 4pm – 8pm

1 x Sunday a month 9am – 3pm ( Sundays are dependent on bookings)

The applicant must also be able to cover extra hours (including in the school holidays) for staff holidays, sickness and half term events as and when needed.

The Candidate

• Will have excellent customer service skills

. Be a confident, trustworthy team player

. Be flexible and reliable for shift work

. Be a self motivated, confident individual that uses their own initiative

• Be physically fit to undertake manual jobs

. Have experience in Administration, Customer Service and a keen interest in sport The Job

• Opening and closing of the centre using the alarm system
• Support in the operational daily running of the centre. Including, set up, set down of equipment, cleaning, tidying, answering the phones, dealing with customers on reception, taking bookings, and helping us to run a clean and safe building

. Continual interaction with customers and maintaining a positive welcoming presence whilst on shift, being proactive and efficient.

• Be willing to take on extra responsibility to meet the needs of the Centre as you progress within the team
• General administration duties including – updating of online booking system, updating social media accounts, replying to emails, typing of letters and gym programmes, filing, photocopying etc A fully enhanced DBS check is required for all our staff Benefits include
