We currently have a permanent contract available for someone that is able to serve as one of our Duty Managers in addition to their receptionist & reservationist duties – so Opera PMS experience is desirable! Our guests stay 7 days a week so we need someone who is available to work a variety of shifts which may include the odd overnight shift (to cover holidays, sickness etc), but will predominantly be day/evening shifts. We are open to discussing flexible working / job share possibilities for this role!
As our Senior Reception Supervisor, your main role will be:
· Serve as the manager on duty as requested, assuming the role of emergency crisis controller and being the first point of contact for any guests requesting to speak to a manager
· Manage all requests we get from guests in a helpful & professional manner
· On an ad hoc basis, support the reservations function with group bookings (so some prior experience in hotel reservations would be desirable!)
· Form part of the daily security team which includes monitoring CCTV and site ‘floor walks’
· Contribute fairly to the teams workload on each shift to ensure seamless service for each guest
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous experience in a hotel environment using Opera PMS in either reception or reservations
· Excellent problem solving & multi-tasking skills, with the ability to take ownership of all guest safety & queries during their designated DM shifts
· Confidence, professionalism and an engaging personality
· Exceptional attention to detail
