HETAS Installer / Chimney Sweep South East – HETAS H003

Milborrow Chimney Sweeps & Croydon Fireplaces – Crawley RH10

Full-time, Permanent

An ongoing need for further operatives is required for a full time HETAS Stove and Fireplace Installer (Chimney Sweep) based in the South East to join our thriving and expanding family run business at Milborrow Chimney Sweeps and Croydon Fireplaces. The successful candidate will earn £40,000 – >£60,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications to start immediately.

Role Requirements:

• HETAS H003
• Experience of Fireplace Installation including limestone, wood, cast iron including all building works incorporated with this i.e adjusting builder’s opening (incl. lintels). (Plastering not required)
• On site experience of high end, complex stove and fire installation and fireplaces to the highest standard.
• Servicing appliances previously installed by the company will form part of the job specification and training will be provided on main manufacturer’s appliances if not familiar with these.
• Maintenance, repairs, problem solving and chimney sweeping and flue installations.
• A professional, presentable appearance and a keen positive attitude to work.
• Self motivated, flexible, independent and happy to take and follow instructions and guidance from inhouse technical.
• Manual working and working at heights is involved
• Full UK Driving Licence (Ideally Clean)
• Eligible to work in the UK

We are HETAS, Gas Safe, Construction Line and Safe Contractor Registered and hold Two Royal Warrants alongside large contracts with National Trust, House Builders and Estate Agents across the South East. Croydon Fireplaces has a showroom of >110 appliances across 50+ top brands they supply through Premier and Expert Retailer accounts with an onsite warehousing of >400 appliances in stock for immediate installation together with parts, spares etc as required.

We only use the materials from top manufacturers (CFP is Mi Flues Southern Trade Counter with 1000’s of meters of Flex & pre fab in stock) not cheap garden shed suppliers with thousands of spare components and items in stock. Brands we install are not limited to; Charnwood, Stovax & Gazco Group, Dru, Dik Geurts, Stuv, Element 4, Bellfire and Barbas, Rocal, ESSE, Heta, Hunter Group, Clearview, Chesney’s, Clearview, Morso and Jotul.
