We are seeking a skilled candidate who is hands on, knowledgeable within the automobile sector, this role is to repair Cat S/ N vehicles.

Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assessing vehicle damage to provide accurate repairs.

Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards

Fault finding and diagnostic work, ordering replacement parts, Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition, Stripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elements

Requirements :

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a body shop or automotive environment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle repair.
• Removing damaged components in preparation for repairs and paint work.
• Re-fitting components to restore the vehicle back to a manufacturer-approved standard
• Diagnosing faults through pre/post sweeps
• Quality check on completion to ensure there are no defects
• Ensuring the use of correct tooling and repair methods

Best suited for an individual who has their own body shop/ tools

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
