What do we want?

Due to growth within the business, we are searching for a Door Assembly/Fabricator to join us. The role will support a team of existing Operators who are responsible for the fabrication of our steel doors.

Our business is built on repeat customers and therefore this role will play an integral role in the Company’s continued growth.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for the fabrication of steel doors
• Handling sheet steel components (manual handling)
• Ensure the correct doors and components are being manufactured
• Carry out QC checks to verify quality before completion
• Complete tasks as set out by the Team Leader
• Maintain daily and weekly targets ensuring quality at all times
• Liaise with other production teams in the supply chain
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
• Assisting other teams as and when required

Who do we need?

• We are a strong team and want someone who will continue to support our ethos of “Stronger Together”
• Previous experience in manufacturing or a factory environment (desirable)
• Previous experience as a CNC Operator would be advantageous
• High level of craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Working to tight deadlines
• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality whilst carrying out repetitive work
• Organised and delivery focused
• Open and approachable style

• Competitive basic salary (£26,000 increasing to £27,750 after probation)

• 24 days annual leave (increasing by one day with every year of service, up to a maximum of 28 days)
