Locum Dentist

Job Description

Merseyside Dental Centre is looking for locum dentist to join their team. We have a fantastic opportunity for a dentist’s to take over an existing well maintained NHS list as well as potential to increase private income. The team is long standing and between them have 50+ years of nursing experience. We are only under a 20 minute drive from Liverpool city centre.

Role: Locum Dentist

Days required: Locum – Saturday AM 9-1

We invest in our practices to make sure we have a high standard throughout.

There is an opportunity to work Saturdays as a locum position.

In this role you would look to inherit an established, well-maintained list of NHS patients.

The dental practice is a 5 surgery practice that has been recently refurbished.

The Practice is fully computerised using the dentally system with iPads in every surgery.

Equipment

• Rotary Endodontics as standard
• Sectional matrix for use in posterior composites
• Use of a iTero Scanner
• Practice offers Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign and Therapist.

Development opportunities within the group

• Work with clinicians in our group to develop short term orthodontics skills
• Develop facial aesthetics experience
• Opportunity to train to provide sedation
• Observe and develop from an experienced minor oral surgeon
• Observe and learn implant dentistry from our in-house implantologist

We are part of a small family ran dental group currently with 6 practices in the North West. We currently comprise of approximately 40 associates, 4 therapists and 3 foundation dentists. Within the group we have an in house endodontist and implantologists at various sites as well as oral surgeons carrying out MOS privately and for the NHS.

All candidates must be registered with the GDC and have an active performer number.
