Hours:

Saturday, Sunday and Monday 5am-7am

(6 hours per week)

Cover hours for holiday and sickness also available.

Your Responsibilities: As a Cleaner at Merlin Contract Services, your main responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining assigned areas with precision and attention to detail.

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in providing high-quality cleaning services, particularly in commercial spaces.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.
• Ensure that all areas are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and protocols.
