Role Overview
As a self-employed estate planning consultant, you will:

• Enjoy a steady flow of appointments sourced from our highly-regarded estate planning seminars in your local area.
• Discuss the benefits of our products and services with potential customers, helping them make informed decisions about their legal planning needs.
• Benefit from flexible working arrangements, managing your own workload.
• Conduct client appointments via video calls and home visits.
• Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of legal principles relevant to estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client appointments generated by the company.
• Educate clients on estate planning and legal services, including Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and probate services.
• Collaborate with our legal document drafting team.
• Attend our seminars on later-life legal planning.
• Work closely with clients to identify their needs and take accurate instructions.
• Use our Estate Planning software to capture client instructions effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven background in estate planning or will writing, trained to IPW or SWW standards, or legally qualified through CILEX.
• Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic, customer-focused, and skilled at identifying client needs.
• Communication: Ability to simplify complex legal information for clients.
• Presentation Skills: Confidence and flair for engaging clients during meetings.
• Consulting and Negotiation: A consultative approach with enthusiasm for our products and services.
• IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to custom software.
• Mobility: A full UK driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.

Pay: From £42,000.00 per year
