Role: Optometrist
*Full refractive and cataract surgery training*
Location: Surrey
Salary : Up to £70,000 per annum + possible relocation package
Hours: Full time / Part Time

Full refractive and cataract surgery training will be provided and is delivered by experienced clinicians. To ensure you have maximum support day-to-day in the clinic, you will work alongside an exceptional professional team, as well as having access to invaluable guidance from the Clinical Services team, which includes some of the most experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists in the specialist areas of refractive surgery and cataract care.

Your role will be varied and can include:

  • Pre and post-operative consultations for our refractive and cataract surgery patients
  • Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists
  • Providing Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for our patients

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, and ocular health evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions and refractive errors, prescribing corrective lenses or recommending appropriate treatments.
  • Collaborate with our skilled support staff, including opticians and technicians, to ensure seamless patient care and an efficient workflow.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a GOC Registered and fully qualified Optometrist.
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage various eye conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
