Job Description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to take ownership of the East region. Ideally you will be based within an hour of London so that you can travel to your customers easily.

The role
The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth and retention of service and equipment sales, develop sales strategies, tactics and action plans. With responsibility for your own region and with your own sales target to hit and exceed, you will be an important member of the sales team responsible for dramatically building and growing our current service contracts and equipment sales within the care sector. You will be responsible for finding, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities, both with new prospects and existing customers and will take ownership of sales forecasting, pipeline management, account planning and driving the use of sales systems to capture and analyse data. You’ll build and maintain long-term relationships with our customers, drive sales and help deliver a great customer experience.

Skills and experience required:

  • Ability to define, manage and drive the sales process from plan to actuality.
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services, the value proposition and to position solutions against the competition.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with the aspiration for growth.
  • A high degree of commercial acumen with the ability to find creative business solutions.
  • High proficiency at analysing data, building reports and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus scheme
