Key Responsibilities

• We are looking for an experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer/Electrician/ Electrician who is hands on to undertake small electrical installations, electrical repairs & replacement items such as hand dryers, water heaters, light fittings, sockets etc and various non-electrical reactive work and PPM on our Transport for London contract across Central London.
• Provide a planned, preventative and responsive repairs service to ensure that the facilities are maintained to an excellent standard. The electrical/ PPM engineer would be responsible for undertaking building maintenance and small electric al works. PPM’s to be undertaken are, but not limited to, clamp testing emergency light testing, L8, fabric checks etc. There is a requirement to undertake reactive breakdown repairs to building services systems and infrastructure to include and again not limited to lock changes, door closer replacements, water and electric isolation. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders and providing them fault diagnostics where necessary. They must be able to drive around London and use the TfL network when required. The company van is for business use only and will come with a fuel card. Any expenditure for tube travel for business use will be reimbursed.

• The successful candidate will have:
• • Level 2 (minimal) qualification in electrical engineering, ideally looking for level 3
• • Proven building maintenance PPM experience
• • Previously worked in both domestic commercial properties
• • Be available to be on call 1 in 5 which – each call out up to midnight is 4hrs @ time & a half. Sundays, Bank holidays and after midnight is double time.
• • Solid Health & Safety awareness
• • No more than 6 points on Uk licence
• We provide training, fully kitted out van, uniform, PPE, health care, 26 days holiday + bank holidays. Overtime is required from time to time
• Basic Pay rate – Rate equivalent of between 37K & 42K + Travel Card or VAN – £17.80 p/h – £20.20 p/h PAYE Direct (£22.28 – £25.29 PAYE Umbrella/CIS)
• 3 months – temp to perm
• A multi-site contract covering multiple properties on the London Underground Network covering all of London and surrounding areas.

Pay: £22.27-£25.29 per hour
