Are you an experienced facilities management professional looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare sector? Join our team as a Life Cycle Manager for Hospital Facilities and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and long-term sustainability of our hospital’s infrastructure.
About the Role:
As a Life Cycle Manager, you will oversee the entire life cycle of building elements within our hospital facilities, from strategic planning and renovations to ongoing maintenance. Collaborating with hospital administrators, maintenance teams, and regulatory agencies, you will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while driving efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Life Cycle Planning:
· – Develop and implement comprehensive facility life cycle plans.
· – Assess existing facilities to identify and address issues, scheduling necessary upgrades or replacements.
· – Align facility management strategies with the hospital’s overall goals and priorities.
Renovation & Expansion Projects:
· – Lead renovation and expansion projects, including budget preparation and construction oversight.
· – Ensure compliance with building codes and obtain necessary permits.
· – Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality to deliver successful outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:
· – Stay updated on healthcare facility regulations, codes, and standards.
· – Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and other applicable guidelines.
· – Coordinate inspections, audits, and certifications with regulatory bodies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
· – Work with hospital administrators, department heads, and staff to address facility needs.
· – Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes.
· – Facilitate cross-departmental communication for seamless facility operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
· – Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (advanced certifications such as CHFM are a plus).
· – Proven experience in healthcare or hospital facility management.
· – Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
· – Expertise in project management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· – Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· – Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and facility management software.
· – Knowledge of sustainability and energy management practices is desirable.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £28.00-£31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
- Proven healthcare or hospital facility management: 2 years (required)
- CMMS: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management (required)
