Pharmacy Counter Assistant (Part Time)

Job Description

McKay Pharmacy is currently seeking a Counter Assistant to work at our branch in Newtownards.

This is a part-time role, and the working hours are:

Monday and Tuesday from 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Saturday from 9.00 am – 12.00 noon

Please only apply if you are available to work these specific hours. There may also be the option for other ad hoc work on a casual basis, for example during holiday periods.

The role involves serving patients at the counter, dealing with stock, and assisting the dispensary staff with the provision of prescription items to patients.

The successful candidate will be offered full training, but it would be useful if you have had previous retail / EPOS experience, and attention to detail is essential.
