Job Description

McGrocer is an online grocery platform that offers a convenient way to buy groceries that people crave. We enable customers to buy their favourite groceries from one or multiple stores in a one-stop shop, including specialist products they can’t find in major stores.

As an associate, your primary responsibility will be to shop in stores from local stores, such as Boots, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco, M&S, and Superdrug, and carefully pack them in boxes. Depending on your abilities and interests, you’ll also shop online while participating in other e-commerce-related tasks

As an independent partner, you’ll have the flexibility to choose when you’d like to shop, the main job requirements include:

Online Responsibilities

• Working via our ecommerce platform, you’ll process and fulfill customer orders, plan shopping activties, liasie with shoppers as well as stores.
• Shop in-store at least once a week
• Assist in ensuring that all orders dropped at the warehouse are accurate
• Following up on out-of-stock items
• Provide online customer service via email, mobile and WhatsApp

Off-line Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders from designated local stores.
• Paying attention to expiration dates and product condition.
• Safely transport the orders, following all traffic regulations and guidelines.
• Pack the items securely in boxes, taking care to arrange them in an organized and presentable manner.
• Verify order accuracy and completeness before sealing and labeling each box appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Experience and Requirements includes

• Online shopping experience on platforms such as shopify, Amazon, ebay, etsy, etc.
• Close proximity to shopping centers (specific to in-store shopping task only)
• Knowledge of local stores and their layouts is a plus.
• Valid full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation. (specific to in-store shopping task only)
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with ecommerce platforms and basic office software such as G-suit.
• Willing to learn and operate new technology
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Able to pass a background check

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £11.44-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Flexitime
• Weekend availability
