Job Description

Are you a Crane Supervisor and interested in working on the largest critical infrastructure project in Europe?

Our client has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 225km section of the new high speed rail link between Euston and Birmingham, and we are proud to supply Crane Supervisors, among many other skilled trades and labour across multiple sites and projects.

Presently, the scope of works include viaducts, shafts, tunnelling, road diversions, over bridges and over 100 million cubic metres of excavation, over the course of the next 2-4+ years. We have a lot of work ahead of us… are you the Crane Supervisor we are looking for:

Successful applicants will need:

  • CSCS/CPCS blue
  • Proven previous experience as a Crane Supervisor
  • SSSTS

Pay rate: £21.85 After 39 hour a week rate goes up to 1.5

Overtime Rate: £32.78 p/h
Hours: Monday to Friday,
Duration : Long term
Contract type: PAYE only

Job Description

Devas Engineer Ltd, a prominent construction recruitment company, is seeking a skilled Crane Supervisor for a site in Purley Way, Croydon. As a Crane Supervisor CIS, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient crane operations. With multiple sites in the area, long term work may be possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate crane operations during standard working hours.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide clear guidance to crane operators and collaborate closely with site personnel.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling lifting activities in coordination with site management.

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor card.
  • Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor on construction sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of crane operations, lifting regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-employed CIS status.
